Quad Clean Energy Supply Chain Diversification program Round 1 open

You can now apply for Round 1 of the Quad Clean Energy Supply Chain Diversification program. Grants will fund research and development projects and feasibility studies to develop, diversify and reduce vulnerabilities in solar PV, hydrogen electrolyser, and battery supply chains.

Projects must be delivered as joint projects between Australian and Indo-Pacific organisations. Organisations in India, Japan and the United States of America can also be additional project partners.

The Australian Government has committed $50 million to this program. Up to $25 million will be available under this round, with grants ranging from $100,000 to $2.5 million.

The program was originally announced by the Quad – Australia, India, Japan and the United States – at the May 2023 Leaders’ Summit. It supports the implementation of the Quad Principles on Clean Energy Supply Chains – a foundation for engagement on clean energy supply chains in the Indo-Pacific.

We are holding information sessions about the program and applications process. Our final session is on Monday 9 December at 3-4pm AEDT.

Applications close at 5pm AEDT, 10 February 2025.
