LG Chem held the ‘Top Installer Award 2018’ for the first time in Australia on February 15 to 16. The ceremony event was designed to reward the top 5 installers based on sales records registered by installers on the ESS Partner Portal.

The Top 5 RESU ESS Partners for 2018 were:

-Sky Energy Systems
-Australia Wide Solar
-Solargain
-Whitney Electrical & Solar
-Thirroul Solar

After the success of the first event which was held last year solely in Germany, LG Chem has expanded the ceremony to a global event by holding the award in 3 locations: Germany, Australia and the US. Celebrating the first event in Australia, LG Chem prepared a number of activities to honor and engage with the selected installers in Australia. For starters, they were all invited to the LG Chem office which is located in Mulgrave for an exclusive office tour and workshop. As part of the workshop session, LG Chem held a group interview to have an open discussion and engage with top installers. The purpose of organizing the workshop was to obtain feedback from installers about their experience with LG Chem in the market; not only their success stories and what LG Chem does well, but also their suggestions on how LG Chem can improve. The installers were asked multiple layers of questions and they actively shared their local market feedback, success stories and further requests to LG Chem.

Next it was time for some relaxation. As always, LG Chem prepared special activities for the ceremony, and there was no exception in Australia. At Peppers Moonah Links Resort, one of Australia’s finest golf resorts, the LG ESS partners and their partners gathered for a casual golf game or took the option to relax at an iconic natural spa, Peninsula Hot Springs.

The main award ceremony served as the finale of the day, with the selected installers receiving RESU batteries as prizes: RESU10 for the 1st place installer and RESU6.5 for each of the installers from 2nd to 5th place. Plaques were also presented in recognition of the great success they exhibited in the distribution of LG Chem home battery (RESU). LG Chem also made sure that the installers were well-supplied with banners and other marketing collateral to further support their success. The evening finished with a celebratory dinner and the sharing of many stories before everyone retired to their luxurious accommodation.

“With the growth and advancement of residential storage batteries, we are pleased to team up with leading installers across the globe,” said Jeongjin Hong, Vice President of LG Chem’s ESS Battery division, “We hope to meet new partners in Australia and we are continuously seeking ways to provide better service for them”.
