Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage solutions provider, is pleased to announce the signing of a contract for the deployment of 22 sets of its SunGiga 215 kWh All-in-One Energy Storage System (JKS-215KLAA-100PLAA) across multiple sites in Queensland, Australia.
This agreement marks a major milestone in supporting the region’s transition to more sustainable energy infrastructure.
Jinko ESS’s SunGiga system brings unprecedented reliability with C5+ corrosion resistance, the highest industry standard.
This ensures that the energy storage systems can endure Queensland’s demanding environmental conditions, especially in coastal areas, making them highly durable over the long term.
The SunGiga 215kWh All-in-One Energy Storage System combines the Power Conversion System (PCS) and LFP batteries into a single, compact unit, reducing installation time and footprint.
Its modular design allows for easy scaling and customisation based on the specific needs of each project.
Additionally, the system incorporates recirculating liquid cooling technology, intelligent temperature control, and five-level fire protection, ensuring stable operation, extended system life, and enhanced safety.
This project represents a significant commitment to renewable energy and storage solutions in Queensland.
By utilising Jinko ESS’s SunGiga, these projects will benefit from not only reliable and scalable energy storage but also reduced electricity costs during peak hours and increased energy security for the local grid.
“We are excited to partner on these strategic projects across Queensland, delivering innovative storage solutions that set a new standard in efficiency and safety,” said Bright Wang, General Manager at Jinko ESS APAC.
“Our SunGiga systems will provide the flexibility and resilience required to support the region’s energy transition.”
