pv magazine Australia consists of a broad editorial team drawn from numerous countries and backgrounds to offer our readers a wide perspective of views, abilities, languages and knowledge on the Australian solar industry.

While overseeing pv magazine‘s Australian website, Jonathan also reports on equipment supply, thin film and Australasia for the global print edition and online. With a background in broadcast journalism for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Deutsche Welle and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Jonathan has been reporting on environmental and technology issues since 2005. He has been with pv magazine since 2011.

David is a senior journalist with more than 25 years' experience in the Australian media industry as a writer, designer and editor for print and online publications. Based in Queensland – Australia’s Sunshine State – he joined pv magazine Australia in 2020 to help document the nation’s ongoing shift to solar.

U.K.-born Mark joined pv magazine as production editor for our monthly global title in September 2016. He also reports on upstream technology and markets, and new and emerging solar regions for both print and online. Mark has experience in copywriting, music journalism and the fast-paced world of startups.

Natalie has had a long and varied career in magazine and online publishing. Over the past five years she has shifted focus from editing magazines about health and popular culture, to popularising science, and writing about resources and renewable-energy. She's most interested in the many factors — cultural, political and technological — that influence the world's transition from fossil fuels to clean energy. Natalie is based in Sydney and is inspired to meet and speak with the passionate people who are making Australia's solar transformation the talk of the globe.

Bella Peacock

Bella completed her MA in English Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, living and working in Berlin and Sarajevo for four years before returning home to Australia in 2019. She joined pv magazine Australia in 2020, after 18 months working as a digital producer for Nine, and has since become completely engrossed by the world of renewable energy, technology and sustainability. Bella has completed a BA in Media Arts & Production at Sydney’s University of Technology.


Marija Maisch

Marija has years of experience in a news agency environment and writing for print and web editions. She has a keen interest in renewables and has been with pv magazine since March 2017, assisting with the online coverage, magazine production and features, and special projects.

He also helps edit the international print magazine, and organizes webinars and events. Marian previously worked as a PR advisor for various clients in the field of renewable energy.
