The new fast charger at the Cobblestone Drive carpark features a 150 kW fast charger, which can top up EVs in about 20 minutes, and a 75 kW fast charger.
The charger’s opening means EV drivers can now travel along the coast from Northampton to Albany, stopping at regular WA EV Network fast chargers along the way.
When completed later this year, the WA EV Network will feature 49 EV charging sites, averaging less than 200 kilometres apart.
The network has been delivered by Synergy and Horizon Power and forms part of the Cook Government’s $43.5 million investment in EV infrastructure.
