Sungrow and Supply Partners have a long-standing partnership since 2012, this agreement strengthens their long-term cooperation in servicing the Australian market.
Under the agreement, Sungrow will supply 400 MW of inverter to Supply Partners in 2024. Supply Partners will provide direct distribution services across all residential, commercial and battery divisions.
Sungrow and Supply Partners are also committing to expand their foothold in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector, commercial energy storage space and EV charging markets.
Sungrow and Supply Partners have agreed to a strategic alliance for C&I batteries under 5 MWh to be supported by the Supply Partners technical team. This new C&I storage alliance will target a significant amount of 50 MWh of storage for 2024 calendar year.
The agreement was signed by Joe Zhou, Sungrow Australia’s Country Manager, and John Degotardi, Director of Supply Partners Group.
Zhou spoke of the agreement as an opportunity for Sungrow to work with Supply Partners to grow key areas in battery and EV charging for Australian residential and commercial use.
“We look forward to the strong relationship between Sungrow and Supply Partners’ technical teams to build an effective product feedback loop, to better serve our Australian customers,” he said.
Degotardi was reflective on the long cooperation Sungrow and Supply Partners have had in the Australian market saying: “Supply Partners Group are privileged with this contract, we are proud this year to have launched New Energy Training a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia and look forward to training and accrediting electricians on how to promote and install Sungrow inverters and batteries.”

Zhou and Degotardi are both confident that a long-term partnership with Sungrow’s products in the mix for the Australian market will be a win-win for both parties. Degotardi also added that Supply Partners team is eager to deliver on this contract.
