The Mabini Solar Project in Brgy. San Pedro, Mabini, Pangasinan, Luzon Island, has been granted Green Lane Certification by the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI), representing Trinasolar ISBU’s first greenfield development in the country, and is scheduled to begin commercial operations by Q3 2026. Once operational, the Mabini Solar Project is expected to generate 110.84 GWh of renewable electricity in its first year, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of over 24,000 households. This project will reduce 76,549 tons of CO₂ emissions annually, reinforcing the Philippines’ climate action goals and contributing to cleaner air and water for the region.

“The Mabini Solar Project shows what can be achieved through strong cooperation between the Advent and Trinasolar,” said Derek Wang, Southeast Asia Country Manager of Trinasolar ISBU. “Together, we are advancing the country’s renewable energy goals and creating lasting value for local communities.”

AdventEnergy President James Yu also emphasized that beyond the expansion of its retail supply portfolio, this project is also a renewal of its promise not just to innovative retail electricity solutions to businesses, but also to preserve the environment for future generations. “We look forward to working hand-in-hand with Trina Solar as we bring a stronger and more sustainable energy future to our customers and deliver lasting impact to the industries we serve.”

As Trinasolar ISBU’s first greenfield project in the Philippines, the Mabini Solar Project marks a milestone in the Southeast Asia market.
