Consumers are now taking climate change into their own hands with new research from energy retailer, Discover Energy, revealing that 67% of Aussies are planning on switching to solar energy, and One Stop Warehouse offers a complete solution to installers and retailers focusing on providing clean, green energy solutions. If that wasn’t enough, the majority (82%) of Aussies agree that renewable energy is the key to a greener future.
In the last three months, One Stop Warehouse has witnessed a trend of suppliers adding batteries to product lines, Chief Operations Officer and Co-founder, Jeff Yu notes “in the last 12 months, 80% of One Stop Warehouse’s inverter suppliers have now added batteries to their product lines. By doing so, they increase the benefits of solar exponentially for consumers as they then have the option to store and/or trade energy back to the grid.”
With a renewed national focus on climate change and incentivisation on a federal and state level encouraging the uptake of electric vehicles, One Stop Warehouse’s Co-founder and CEO, Anson Zhang, predicts ”consumers will want to charge their vehicles from the comforts of their home and with solar panels and batteries, they now have the chance to trade excess energy from their EV to supplement their solar panels and power the home.”
The promotion of solar energy has been One Stop Warehouse’s singular vision and primary focus. Commenting on One Stop Warehouse’s journey, Yu says: “Our success to date was not possible without the support of our valued customers, the installers who lifted each panel, and our suppliers who have helped make One Stop Warehouse the go-to destination for solar products nationally. It particularly delights me because this milestone will directly impact how Australia receives energy in the long term, shifting away from coal-fired power towards 100% renewables.”
One Stop Warehouse began in a small warehouse in Western Australia. The founders Anson Zhang, CEO, and Jeff Yu, COO, have since worked to grow their company’s success nationally, now with five large warehouses operating across the country. Both founders recently were recognised as Sydney’s Young Entrepreneurs of the Year 2021, which is a testament to their drive and focus across three companies that deliver solar-centric and green business choices to consumers and businesses.
