Formerly ‘Enlit Australia” this 2024 rebrand returns this key conference and expo to its roots, bringing together the thought leaders of Australia’s utilities sector to have tricky yet practical discussions about the sector’s transition to net zero.
Australia’s path to net zero is a long game. Power + Utilities Australia believes that true and enduring change only comes when everyone is part of the journey, and the trickiest part is often getting the right people, in the right room, at the right time. Over two days, the Leadership Summit will bring together a diversity of the industry’s leading and emerging voices, in spirited debate about policy, funding, technology, implementation, workforce and communities.
Over 100 speakers representing more than 20 energy generators, networks and retailers and more than a dozen peak bodies will speak across eight streams titled “Putting the Customer First”, “Social License & Just Transition”, “Challenges in Renewable Energy”, “Opportunities in Renewable Gas”, “EV Integration”, “Grid & Systems”, “ICT & Cyber” and “Finance & Regulation”. Morning plenaries will open with a series of big picture panels moderated by ex-ABC Melbourne radio host, Jon Faine, a highlight of which will be a Day 2, State of the Nation CEO Panel.
An additional stream of content will take place on the Knowledge Hub, located on the main floor of the expo, offering technical education on a range of topics including community batteries, CER, predictive analysis, zero trust cyber security and asset management.
Power + Utilities Australia will take place on May 7 and 8 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and registrations are open now.
