As one of only two manufacturers in the global top 10 to achieve maximum ratings across all core accelerated stress tests, this milestone underscores Tongwei’s sustained commitment to product integrity.
PVEL’s Scorecard is widely regarded as one of the industry’s most trusted benchmarks for long-term module reliability, subjecting products to testing protocols significantly more stringent than IEC certification standards. The 2025 testing regime included:
TC600 (Thermal Cycling Test for 600 times),
DH2000 (Damp Heat Test for 2000 hours),
PID192 (Potential Induced Degradation Test for 192 hours),
LeTID486 (Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation Test for 486 hours),
MSS (Mechanical Stress Sequence Test),
HSS (40mm Hail Stress Sequence Test), and
PAN performance test.
Additionally, a new UV120 sequence test was introduced this year.
This achievement underscores the exceptional durability and performance of Tongwei’s TNC modules, which not only meet but exceed international standards, even under extreme environmental conditions.
Building on this proven reliability, Tongwei is also driving innovation with the launch of its TNC 2.0 modules, powered by advanced technologies including 908 Technology (Tongwei’s 0BB technology), TPE, Poly Tech, and Stencil Printing. The new series delivers significant gains in efficiency, power output, and bifaciality, expanding the potential of N-type technology. With TNC 2.0, the G12R-66 module reduces CAPEX by 1.20% and LCoE by 1.28%, while the G12-66 module cuts CAPEX by 1.26% and LCoE by 1.31%. On the R&D side, TNC 2.0 modules have achieved over 88% bifaciality, certified by TÜV Rheinland and CGC, 5-10 pct higher than conventional modules, enabling higher energy yield for customers.
Tongwei’s continued recognition by PVEL affirms its commitment to delivering high-quality, high-performance solar solutions for a sustainable energy future.
