These services have been delivered across major markets including Australia, the United States, Chile, the United Kingdom and Italy, combining local regulatory knowledge with consistent application of international quality and safety standards.
Experience across utility‑scale projects worldwide
In Chile, Enertis Applus+ has supported some of the country’s largest BESS projects by delivering comprehensive supply inspection and quality assurance services.
For Grenergy’s Teno (838 MWh), Planchón (360 MWh) and Tamango (168 MWh) BESS projects, the company carried out manufacturing oversight and FAT witnessing of the BESS integrator, as well as FAT witnessing of key Balance of System (BOS) components, including power conversion systems and medium‑voltage transformers.
These activities enabled the verification of manufacturing quality, functional performance and compliance with technical specifications prior to equipment delivery, reducing risks at critical stages of the project.
In other key markets, such as Australia, Enertis Applus+ has also delivered independent quality assurance and quality control services.
For ACEN Australia’s New England project (400 MWh), the company carried out factory audits, monitoring of manufacturing processes and FAT witnessing of BESS containers and BOS equipment.
Driving quality and reducing supply chain risk
With a global track record of more than 150 GWh in energy storage projects, Enertis Applus+ provides high‑value consulting, engineering and quality control services throughout the energy storage value chain.
“Our extensive experience in supply chain advisory, BESS technologies and QAQC services enables a comprehensive quality assurance approach across the BESS value chain, from supplier assessment and manufacturing surveillance to on‑site inspections and commissioning support, ensuring compliance with international standards, safety and innovation,” said Carlos Sandoval, Head of QAQC, Technology and Supply Chain at Enertis Applus+.
“Through factory audits, continuous manufacturing supervision and rigorous testing protocols, we help our clients mitigate technical risks and ensure that their energy storage assets are reliable, efficient and safe over the long term.”
