Hybrid Systems bolsters tech capabilities with acquisition of Digital Intelligence

Established in 2015, teh Darwin-based Digital Intelligence is a market-leading specialist in high-end control systems, instrumentation and electrical engineering and installation.

Hybrid Systems said the addition of Digital Intelligence’s skills base strengthens the company’s internal capability, enabling it to remain at the forefront of rapidly evolving technology across control systems, energy management and the integration of multiple energy sources including to network infrastructure.

Hybrid Systems recently announced the expansion of its national footprint through the establishment of operations in the Northern Territory. The geographical location of Digital Intelligence aligns with this expansion and increases the business’ capacity and commitment to deliver projects in the NT.

Hybrid Systems has worked with Digital Intelligence since 2018. Executive director Mike Hall recognised this past relationship and the value that Digital Intelligence brings to the group with the increasing number of projects requiring multiple sources of energy and storage to be integrated, synchronised, monitored and controlled.

“The Hybrid Systems team has enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Digital Intelligence, working collaboratively on numerous projects over the last four years, including a number of large-scale BESS projects,” he said.
