Adelaide-based, Tindo is seeking to use the launch of their customer-centric rebrand to celebrate other Aussie Summer Heroes and help affirm Australian renewables as an intrinsic part of Australia’s national identity.

Tindo is proud to support Cancer Council Australia in recognition of the organisations firm place in Australian culture as an iconic summer hero with their life-saving Slip! Slop! Slap! and SunSmart messages. Our partnership amplifies the opportunity for businesses to create a positive impact in their community.

Tindo’s rebrand underpins a pivot to help bring the option of Australian-made, quality solar panels to every business and home right across the country, helping to power the heroic work of everyday Australians.

Richard Petterson, CEO of Tindo, said:

“This summer we are excited to celebrate our new identity alongside one of the nation’s most iconic Aussie heroes, Cancer Council. We welcome the opportunity to support Cancer Council’s fantastic work and for Tindo to provide affordable, renewable power to Aussie Summer Heroes across Australia.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring our brand identity and indeed the opportunity to own Australian-made renewables into the present. Our vision with this rebrand is to make quality, locally made renewable technology available across Australia.”

Todd Harper AM, CEO of Cancer Council Victoria, said:

“We are thrilled to receive support from Tindo. This partnership goes beyond our primary focus on cancer prevention, as we work towards a cancer-free future and embrace environmental sustainability to create healthy environments for all.

“By partnering with Tindo, we not only advance our efforts in cancer prevention but also advocate for and actively contribute to the creation of healthy environments for all. Together, we are forging a path towards a brighter, healthier future, where individuals can thrive in communities that prioritise both well-being and environmental sustainability.”

Lyrian Fleming-Parsley, Cancer Council Chair of Marketing and Fundraising said:

“We are grateful to Tindo Solar for their generous support of Cancer Council. With approximately one in two Australians being diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, their support is invaluable in our mission to save lives and create a brighter, sun-safe future for all Australians.”

Professor Roger Milne, a World Cancer Research Fund grant recipient said:

“As a cancer researcher, I commend Tindo Solar for their invaluable support of Cancer Council. Their commitment not only aids in funding critical research but also underscores the importance of corporate social responsibility in combating cancer. With partners like Tindo Solar, we are empowered to advance our understanding of the disease and work towards life-saving breakthroughs.”
