The rollout of the Victorian Solar Homes Program has been a shambles:
Solar jobs have been lost;
Solar businesses are shutting down, having lost millions of dollars and being put on hold for months; and
The application process has been the very definition of bureaucracy gone mad. They’re even rolling out untested, unnecessary facial recognition software!
The Victorian Opposition Leader, Michael O’Brien, will be speaking at the rally and there will be a strong media presence.
We need a strong solar industry turnout to ensure we fix the Victorian Solar Homes Program. If you’re in Melbourne, please come along and bring your colleagues and customers.
If you’re not in Melbourne, please encourage your partners to come along. We need solar workers, solar customers and solar panels.
Please distribute the attached flyer through your Melbourne networks.
Please call me on 0417 141 812 should you wish to discuss this further.
