Decmil declares Sunraysia Solar Farm nearing completion

The much-delayed Sunraysia Solar Farm is seemingly a step closer to commencing production – more than 24 months behind schedule – with Australian engineering firm Decmil Group confirming the PV project has been given the green light following the successful completion of the required hold point testing.

Decmil breaks ground on 255 MW Sunraysia Solar Farm

Maoneng Australia, John Laing and Decmil have hosted a sod-turning ceremony on-site in Balranald, NSW. The developer has confirmed the solar farm will be co-located with a large-scale grid connected battery, and stated its plans for an additional 500 MW of solar and energy storage to be added in line with the proposed SA-NSW interconnector.

Decmil, Maoneng sign MOU for 250MW PV project in NSW

Based on an exclusive memorandum of understanding, Australian EPC Decmil is poised to design and construct one of the largest solar projects in New South Wales. The company is in line for a $275 million engineering contract with Chinese group Maoneng in March next year.
