The Energy Security Board invites stakeholders interested in the Retailer Reliability Obligation to the following:
- Forums on the detailed design of the Retailer Reliability Obligation. This forum will go through all elements of the RRO and allow stakeholders to seek clarification or ask general questions. This forum will be held in Melbourne on Monday, 18 March 2019 and in Sydney on Wednesday, 20 March 2019 from 1:00 – 4:30 pm.
- Workshops to discuss in detail elements of the retailer reliability obligation. The AER and AEMO will present on topics including information about the process for the guidelines to be developed under the draft Rules, the Reliability Forecast and how demand will be determined. Other topics will likely include the Market Liquidity Obligation and the process for deeming obligated parties and the POLR cost recovery mechanism. Further, stakeholders will be provided an opportunity to raise any thoughts about the draft Rules. The Workshops will be held in Melbourne on Monday 25, March 2019 from 1:00 – 4:30 pm and in Sydney on Wednesday 27, March 2019 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm.
