VARTA Storage named third time in a row “Top Brand PV Storage”


VARTA Storage GmbH has impressed German installers with its energy storage portfolio, comprising the products of VARTA pulse, VARTA element and VARTA one. This was the chief finding of the latest issue of the “European PV Installer Monitor”. VARTA Storage earned the seal of approval “Top Brand PV Storage 2018” for its excellent brand awareness, recommendation rate and its distribution.

EuPD Research awards the “Top Brand PV” honour solely to leading manufacturers in the industry and, in addition to module and inverter manufacturers as well as wholesalers, has now bestowed it on an energy storage system manufacturer for the third time. The “Top Brand PV Storage” seal of approval is awarded only to a few select vendors whose brands are rated by installers as superior to the competition.

EuPD Research first developed a methodology for independently assessing the brand management of module and inverter vendors in 2010. Battery storage manufacturers were added in 2015. This industry seal of approval is awarded on the basis of a multi-stage analysis. Qualified statements on brand perception and distribution form the foundation for the assessment. Manufacturers thus receive a neutral and unfiltered appraisal of their own brand and the potential for optimizing brand management.

Better orientation: intermediaries and end customers trust seal of approval
In a highly competitive market, seals of approval like Top Brand PV add value not only for manufacturers – intermediaries can also set themselves apart from competitors with a proven high-quality product portfolio. Seals of approval additionally serve as orientation for end customers in an increasingly differentiated market. The seal of approval is readily understandable and offers end customers a high recognition value.
