The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’ New Energy Apprenticeships Program aims to encourage more Australian apprentices to consider working in the clean energy sector to support Australia’s economic growth.
VERTO will deliver career-based guidance and advice, including peer support and other networking opportunities, to individuals seeking employment in the clean energy sector across Australia.
“Clean energy is a rapidly growing sector, and one where today’s apprentices will play a significant role in tomorrow’s outcomes for us all,” Maxwell said.
“We are incredibly excited to be selected by the Australian government to deliver the New Energy Apprenticeships Program and play a significant role in this evolving industry.”
VERTO will begin delivering the New Energy Apprenticeships Program nationally from May 2024.
