The new depot combines the Mandurah and Waroona depots, and will enhance the co-ordination and service reach for customers in the Peel region.
The purpose-built facility will provide enhanced customer response times and improve employee safety for its 60 staff.
One of the depot’s impressive features includes a large-scale original artwork by Bindjareb elder Gloria Kearing, which depicts native frogs and western long-necked tortoises.
Part of Western Power’s depot modernisation program, the Pinjarra depot will help meet the growing needs of its customers’ energy needs in the region.
